Adegboyega Adenekan, the 47-year-old school supervisor accused of sexually assaulting a two-year-old pupil.

A video evidence of alleged serial defilement of a 2-year-old pupil by her school’s supervisor, Adegboyega Adenekan has been obtained by the Ikeja Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court.

One Miss Olive Ogedengbe testified against Adenekan, 47, at the court on Monday.

The child’s mother, through the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team (DSVRT), had reported the case of sexual abuse to Miss Ogedengbe, a clinical psychologist and an expert in sexual and reproductive health behaviour in children and adolescents.

Miss Ogedengbe testified that the child (name withheld), a pupil of Chrisland School, Lekki, Lagos confirmed Adenekan’s serial sexual assault.

In the video submitted as evidence, the child was said to have drawn the private part of Adenekan on a sheet of paper.

Elsewhere, the child was said to have drawn Adenekan’s hand, which she said was “the hand he used to put in my wee wee.”

She also answered in the affirmative that Adenekan usally put his “wee wee” in hers.

The child also grossly depicted – with a teddy bear – how the supervisor abused her friend, saying he usually said “your bum bum is sweet, I will eat your bum bum.”

According to Miss Ogedengbe, the child’s mother had found out her daughter had been defiled after someone in her church handed her a book on sexual education for children which she read and decided to practice on her child.

Miss Ogedengbe and the prosecuting counsel maintained that the child was not tutored to give the grim detail.

Adenekan could be sentenced to life imprisonment if found guilty of the offence.

The case was been adjourned till March 21.
