The 2014 edition of the Calabar Carnival which took place on December 26 and 27, 2014, had different celebrities dressed up in their various costumes for the highly anticipated festival.
The carnival is a display of the African heritage showcased through music, dance, drama and visual creativity which is reflected in the design of floats, costumes and make-up.
The Calabar Carnival, believed to be the largest cultural Festival in Africa with 50,000 Costumed revellers, 2million spectators and an audience of over 50million television viewers according to organisers, had different dignitaries like the governor of Cross River State, Liyel Imoke, Kate Henshaw who wore a mini gown with tail and a hat with feathers and boots, Paul and Peter of Psquare dressed like pirates with their swords, Jim Iyke, Don Flexx and a host of others.
