Crystal Palace’s right back, Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s move to Man United has been finalized and he is currently undergoing the second leg of his medical at Carrington training base.
The Red Devils agreed to buy Aaron from Crystal Palace at £50 million, paying £45 million up front and £5 million based if certain conditions based on his performance are met. He will have to sign a 5-year contract with Man United with the option of a further 12 months at the end of the 5 years.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka who was lodged at Lowry Hotel last night and is the seventh most expensive defender in history with this deal, is expected to earn £80,000-a-week at Man United.
The 21-year-old who just competed for England at the Under-21 European Championships only just made his first appearance at Crystal Palace 16 months ago.
He has the obvious full support of the club’s manager, Ole Gunner Solskjaer who picked him as a first choice to replace Antonio Valencia who is leaving the club. Solskjaer also urged the club to buy Aaron Wan-Bissaka at Crystal Palace’s asking price, showing the high expectations he has for the defender.
