News about Cameron Boyce‘s passing hit the internet yesterday and celebrities and fans have been mourning him non-stop. At the time of his death, he had only 8 million followers on Instagram but the account now has 13.5 million followers.
The number of condolence messages on all his social media accounts from fans has been overwhelming and it is still almost unbelievable that he is dead. Celebrities like Adam Sandler, Salma Hayek, Skai Johnson, and almost every other current Disney stars have been writing eulogies about the late actor.
Salma Hayek talked about how she was lucky to have been his mom on the set of ‘Grown Ups 1 and 2’ saying, “I had the privilege to play Cameron’s mother in #grownups 1 and 2 and we stayed in touch through the years He was spirited, talented, kind, generous, funny and a shining light. His joy will live in our hearts forever as he goes on dancing and shining elsewhere. My heart goes to his lovely family.
Adam Sandler also took to his Instagram to say, “Too young. Too sweet. Too funny. Just the nicest, most talented, and most decent kid around. Loved that kid. Cared so much about his family. Sofia Carson simply said, “no words. words will come later”. His other co-star from ‘Jessie’, Josie Totah, wrote a poem on how Boyce was a light in the world and talked about his big heart. Rob Schneider attested to the niceness of Cameron Boyce’s soul saying: “Cameron was simply the nicest boy I ever met”.
