2018 has proved to be a great year for Africa as the number of billionaires in the continent has moved up to 23. Forbes released their official list of African billionaires and three Nigerians are included with one of them on top of the list.

Aliko Dangote, who has sat on the top of the list for seven years consistently, leads this year’s list with a net worth of $12.2 billion. Mike Adenuga and Folorunsho Alakija, also appear on the list with the net worths of $5.3 billion and $1.6 billion respectively.
