Fresh from his 2017 AMVCA Best Actor win, Nollywood actor, Sambasa Nzeribe is back at work.
Nzeribe, who beat Olu Jacobs, Richard Mofe-Damijo and Ramsey Nouah to clinch the coveted title, is said to currently be the toast of movie producers.
In what looks like a character role, Nzeribe is pictured on set of a new movie, Tatu, dressed up like a Fulani man with hair and prosthetic long ears to match.
Speaking on the characterisation, award-winning make-up artist, Hakeem ‘Effect’ Onilogbo, who was behind Sambasa Nzeribe’s transformation, gave accolades to the actor for bringing the character to life.
He wrote:
‘At times having a great concept is not enough to characterize an actor…..but the most important thing is for the actor to be in character with your characterization…….lolz….if you are the best makeup artist in the universe and your artist is not ready to give his total submission ,the best out of you will never come out. Tnks to those actors av ever worked with ,that has given me the chance to express my creative side to the world, tnks so much, after God na you. Without you ..I can’t achieve all these….. Sambasa Nzeribe always gives me his best ,tnks bro’.
Tatu is directed by Don Omope and will also star Rahama Sadau, Toyin Aimakhu, Frank Donga and Funlola Rahimi.
