For the first time in 30 years, ace comedian and actor Bill Cosby will be returning to comedy TV, starring in a TV concert special titled Far From Finished.
USA Today reports that the show which is compiled from Cosby’s stand-up material from earlier this summer and directed by Robert Townsend will hit Comedy Central on November 24.
Far From Finished is the actor’s first television concert in three decades since his ground-breaking ‘Bill Cosby: Himself’ aired in 1983 which was the bedrock for his popular Emmy-award winning The Cosby Show, which premiered on NBC in 1984.
The show featured the Huxtable family, an upper-middle-class African-American family living in Brooklyn.
In his unique way, the comedian, who turned 76 on Friday July 12 said he’s returning to comedy after so long is, ‘because… funny is funny.’
