Bill Cosby was sued on Tuesday, December 2, 2014, by a Southern California woman who claims the comedian molested her in a bedroom of the Playboy Mansion around 1974 when she was 15 years old.
In a lawsuit filed on Tuesday and obtained by EW, Judy Huth claims that in 1974, she and her 16-year-old friend met Cosby when they stumbled onto a movie set in Los Angeles. She claims that she and her friend disclosed their ages to Cosby when they met.
According to Huth, Cosby then invited them to a tennis club a week later, where he gave them alcoholic beverages, making them drink every time he won in pool. After having ‘multiple’ drinks, Cosby invited them to the Playboy Mansion and told them to tell anyone who asked that they were 19. There, she claims, Cosby ‘proceeded to sexually molest her by attempting to put his hand down her pants, then taking her hand in his hand and performing a sex act on himself without her consent.’
Huth says she’s suffered ‘severe and extreme emotional distress,’ and is seeking punitive and exemplary damages.
Cosby’s lawyer did not immediately respond to EW‘s request for comment.
Bill Cosby recently stepped down from Temple University’s Board of Trustees following the gale of sexual abuse allegations mounting against him from different quarters.
