Another South West state has chosen President Muhammadu Buhari as its preferred presidential candidate over Atiku Abubakar.
Buhari defeated Atiku in Ogun State by polling 281,762 votes compared to his fierce opposition’s 194,655 votes.
The total number of registered voters in the state is 2,336,887 while total number of accredited voters is 613,397.
The number of total votes cast is 605,938, out of which 564,256 votes were declared valid. A total of 41,682 votes were rejected.
Buhari has now won 13 out of 21 states (including the FCT) that have been announced so far.
The collation of election results is currently ongoing in Abuja.
