The last has not been heard about the crisis currently rocking the Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON) as the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN) has taken a stand against the embattled chairman, Chief Tony Okoroji.
Okoroji (who has been chairman of the body since inception and has been involved in a struggle for leadership with Now Muzik CEO Efe Omorogbe) was accused of trying to a ‘Robert Mugabe’ in a recent statement. The statement signed by Pretty Okafor, Sunny Neji, Zaaki Azzay, Ruggedman, Felix Duke, Asha Gangali who are all officers of PMAN accused Okoroji of sabotaging COSON as he did when he was Chairman of PMAN.
