Dunn Loren Merrifield Asset Management & Research Co. is leading an investment literacy initiative by supporting a niche interactive theatre production, promoting better understanding and appreciation of investment planning. The initiative launched with the company’s sponsorship for ‘NEXT OF KIN’, a stage play production.
The stage play, specifically selected as one of the fringe strand performances of Lagos Theatre Festival which held recently, premiered at the British Council in Lagos.
The one-character performance written and produced by Eniola Shitta meets audience with subliminal realities and uncanny expectations about life. The audience followed phone conversations and discoveries made by a young Fehintola, played by Uche Elumelu, who returns to pack up her late father’s estate after his tragic passing.
Highlighting the firm’s interest with NEXT OF KIN, Managing Director of Dunn Loren Merrifield Asset Management & Research Co. Tola Odukoya affirms that ‘supporting creative talents and significantly contributing to public awareness using the performing arts further drive the company’s commitment to positively impact on the lives and communities in which we remain connected’.
‘As custodian of wealth and asset management, building a formidable investment portfolio for the present and future is at the core of service provided by the firm. We owe the people a responsibility to educate and appropriately inform them,’ he stated.
Odukoya also noted that guiding clients in making the right investment decisions come as serving benefits when adopting several products operated by the firm, including the High Interest Investment Plan (HIIP) among other client friendly investment products.
Furthermore, celebrating the success of British Council’s Lagos Theatre Festival, Dunn Loren Merrifield Asset Management Company recognises the platform will continue to provide relevant opportunities that promote new talents in the creative space.
The investment literacy campaign is a corporate social programme by Dunn Loren Merrifield Asset Management & Research Co, an award winner of European Society for Quality Research (ESQR) and Member Company of Dunn Loren Merrifield Group.
