Super Eagles striker, Kelechi Iheanacho is facing legal issues in the United States after a football agent accused him of misleading a court in Pennsylvania.
Iheanacho faces a two-year jail term if found guilty of the charges stemming from the allegations by First Eleven Management, an American-based full-service agency for football players.
The agency is said to be aggrieved over his pulling out of a contract signed with them two years ago to sign for another agency in the UK.
20-year-old Iheanacho, however, is said to have filed a plea in which he denied knowing Henry Galeano, who claimed to be his former agent.
According to Sun UK, Iheanacho claimed he believed Galeano was an alias used by First Eleven Management, co-owner Robert Zanicky.
Galeano meanwhile submitted a series of images showing him with Iheanacho to the court.
