‘City of Lies’, an upcoming American biographical crime film which chronicles the murder investigations of legendary rap icons Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G, is being shopped after losing its release date a month before it was released. was seized by its creditors earlier this week.
Global Road Entertainment who was to release the movie starring notable American actors, Johnny Depp and Forest Whitaker, on September 7, is on the market to sell the finished film after its film division was seized for not meeting its projected goal of Two hundred million capital.

According to reports, even if other finished movies being shopped, does sell, it still may not save Global Road Entertainment from bankruptcy but as long as the film is purchased, there is nothing holding it back from release. It is, however, unclear how long the process may take.
The film which based on the book of by author, Randall Sullivan follows the life former notable LAPD detective, Russell Poole, played by 55-year-old Depp and a reporter by the name of Jackson played by 57-year-old Whitaker as they team up in an attempt to crack the unsolved murder cases of Biggie and Tupac Shakur.
