Donald Trump may be the person moving into the White House soon, but it’s Hillary Clinton that’s still getting the love from the public.
The former US presidential candidate got a couple of standing ovations from the audience who came to see the final performance of the musical The Color Purple at Broadway.
She was there to see the performance along with her husband and former US president, Bill Clinton, and daughter, Chelsea.
Their presence pleasantly caught many by surprise, with people giving them several ovations as they arrived for the show.
Hillary then got a standing ovation when she was subtly introduced as one of the many ‘famous and notable people’ there by actress Patrice Covington at the end of the performance.
The 69-year-old will make another public appearance soon, as she plans to attend the inauguration of Trump as president on January 20.
