While this is not the first time Blossom Chukwujekwu has played a bad boy on screen, in Who’s The Boss he absolutely delights as Lekan Davies. He plays a rakish playboy who made his fortune in Tech and now explores his talents as a Thespian.
Celebrated for his acting dexterity, the Chinaza Onuzo written and directed comedy-drama takes Chukwujekwu to new heights. And the two combine beautifully to create a character that is as annoying as he is charming.
Chukwujekwu as Lekan Davies manages beautifully to walk the tight rope without falling off, in his interpretation of this delicious character. He delivers memorable zingers and stunning performances with a killer smile and sex appeal that is very masculine, alluring & irresistible. This is especially evident in scenes where Lekan is his roguish best and yet the audience is cheering loudly and rooting for him.
Definitely one of the highlights of Who’s The Boss, it is fun to see Chukwujekwu play such a left-field role and we hope to see more of this side of him. In fact, we were so enamoured with Chukwujekwu’s delivery of Lekan, that we haven’t stopped daydreaming about being the sole interest of a rich playboy. Every woman needs a Lekan!
Thank you Inkblot Productions and Accelerate Studios for the gift of Lekan Davies.
