Adele has been praised for visiting the Grenfell Tower area to offer comfort to those affected by the deadly fire that swept through the block of flats.
The pop star Londoner made a low key appearance at a vigil being held in support of the victims at the scene of the horror blaze, where at least 12 people have been confirmed to have died.
Twitter users spotted the singer at the event with her husband, Simon Koneki, where she was visibly emotional, ‘hugging and comforting’ victims.

Social media users were quick to praise the star for her show of support for the victims.

Twitter user, Fourmee said: ‘The fact that Adele has gone to Grenfell tower and not said a word about it just proves how amazingly sincere she is… Adele is an angel, she deserves heaven, biggest heart ever, so proud of her.’
Other celebrities also pledged their support to victims of the fire, with Jamie Oliver offering those affected free food at his nearby restaurant, and Rita Ora sending her prayers.
But sometimes prayers aren’t enough.
