Self proclaimed ‘investigative’ and controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has exposed the identity of the second woman who claimed in an interview with YNaija that Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo had raped her.
She tweeted “#BREAKING Here is the identity of the 2nd woman accusing the #Coza pastor, BiodunFatoyinbo of RAPE. Her name is Tunmise Oluyede She was fired from the church after allegedly mismanaging a church Dubai Trip. She hid her identity with YNaija.”
She then added as a form of defence for exposing the lady saying, “Oluwatunmise Oluyede claimed anonymity from YNaija NOT from HNN Africa. I did not interview her. I know who she is. A public figure whose plight is about RAPE in Dubai yet wants to stay private, she should face and stand up to her accuser BiodunFatoyinbo. Busola Dakolo did.”
She claims that her job is to investigate stories like this and to expose the truth that she finds. She is of the opinion that it is wrong for Tumise to want to accuse someone of rape as a public figure and hide behind anonymity.
She says that what she has found out about the issue that she has been investigating. She says Miss Oluyede is a filmmaker that does work in documentary, media and film production. She says that Oluyede went to Dubai with Pastor Biodun to set up a church there.
She belittles the rape story in her audio release saying, “when a man fondles a woman or any of those pre-sex things, it always ends up in intercourse. We know about sex. But when it ends up in rape, it was forcibly done”.
She continued later by saying, “Oluwatunmise Oluyede has not gone to the police. Rape victims are supposed to go to the police first before the media to do interviews.” She tries to figure out why the victim’s face had been blurred out saying “she said for security reasons. When you are accusing somebody of rape in front of the media, you don’t close your face. You open your face like Bukola Dakolo did. You show your face to the victimiser or the accused like Busola did.”
She concluded by saying that after the Dubai trip, Busola and all the others that went on the trip were fired. She claims that the church fired them for not doing the work they were sent to do properly and that all 4 or 5 of the people on the trip were disgruntled after.
Kemi Olunloyo says that in her opinion, Oluyede is a disgruntled staff who was fired and that both parties, Fatoyinbo included, are victims. She says they should both answer questions, that there are no security issues for the lady. She claims that she will keep investigating and bring more information.
The situation is very dicey, but it seems like Kemi Olunloyo has formed her own opinion on the gist based on the story that she has heard. What do you think about this debacle? Do you agree with Kemi’s opinion? Let us know in the comment section below.
