Mom and Dad, it’s indeed the break you’ve been wishing for! The collection of “fun-tertaining” films have been carefully curated to comprise amination hits that are also educational and motivate teamwork, problem-solving and social skills.
Animania will keep the kids occupied on Saturday afternoons throughout the national lockdown and beyond, into the month of May. On M-Net Movies Smile (DStv Channel 105 on DStv) the line-up kicks in just before 10:00 am WAT, and for the delightful stories on M-Net Movies All-Stars (DStv Channel 111), M-Net Movies Zone (DStv Channel 139 and GOtv channel 3) the kids have to be ready shortly thereafter.
To find out what’s in store on the three channels, and at what times the movies start, scroll through your Electronic Programme Guide (EPG) or have a look at the full channel schedules on DStv.com
- Topping the bill on M-Net Movies Smile are two instalments of the How to Train Your Dragon film series; the first two Kung Fu Panda movies; Home Alone; The Incredibles 2 and the original Hotel Transylvania.
- On M-Net Movies All-Stars, Rugrats in Paris and The Spongebob Movie: Sponge out of Water, and a trio of flicks with Barbie in a starring role are among the crowd-pleasers.
- Wreck-it-Ralph and Cars 2 on M-Net Movies Zone were selected with adventurous spirits in mind, while Shrek and the Bee Movie spin laugh-a-minute yarns with surprises at every turn.
