The first lady of America, Melania Trump has arrived in Accra, Ghana’s capital City, her as she begins her tour of four African countries.

Upon her arrival, US First Lady was greeted by the presence of school children and dance groups who were at the airport to welcome her.
Melania’s tour will focus on promoting health care and education programmes run by US foreign aid organisation USAID.
Nigeria which has the world’s largest black population, fondly considered as the ‘Giant of Africa’ and a key nation in matters concerning the continent is surprisingly omitted from Mrs Trump’s itinerary.
It is being expected that Mrs Trump’s solo trip to the continent will help to heal some of the divisions between African countries and the United States
In February, her husband, President Donald Trump, allegedly used the word “shithole” to describe African nations.
The FLOTUS’ weeklong visit will also see her visit Kenya, Malawi and Egypt.
