To encourage Nigerian students and give them some memorable detox from stress, we hear that MTN has kicked off its 4GCampusInvasion – a fun data party with lots of freebies and games across tertiary institutions in the country. This is part of MTN Nigeria’s far-reaching 4G rollout plan for the year. Really, who better to prioritize for a fantastic browsing experience than students who need to be able to download or stream music, videos or games without any buffering or stress on MTN’s quality 4G data network!
With the kick-off of the 4G party at the Universities of Calabar, Abuja and Delsu on Wednesday, April 10, 2018, it’s been fun all the way and we can’t wait to spread the word.
We won’t even bother giving you the gist, just see what happened yourself:
1. The ‘Sickest’ Rap Battle in The land: Forget the rap that you hear on the airwaves, the future of rap is in Nigerian universities! Raw, untapped talents are everywhere. What we heard in Calabar, Abuja and Delta was something else. Oh, Reminisce, MI, Dremo, Eva, better be careful!
2. Table Soccer Was Bae: Table soccer is the stuff of legends. Lol! It was fun to watch the students slug it out on the foosball table and the champs had the marks to show it.
3. The Dancing Is On Another Level: We assumed we knew what dance meant but so far, the 4G Data invasion has shown that we are novices, babies in fact. Calabar, Abuja and Delsu what have you been hiding from the world?! So many dancers in just three locations and the back-to-back hits brought out the very best in people. The students need to do a ‘zanku’ tutorial for the rest of Nigeria. We loved it!
The fun will continue for the next few days in Uyo, Mapoly, Yabatech & Unizik and we are super excited. What will MTN4GCampusInvasion bring our way? From the Pulse Invasion of last year, we know that it only gets better with every single stop. So, we will wait for them… Luggage and suitcase packed!
