In a bid to shed the spotlight on some of Africa’s most inspirational young entrepreneurs, music channel MTV Base is kicking off a new show ‘Touching Base’.
‘Touching Base’ is a new documentary that will showcase talented young individuals who have in way or the other creatively affected or better still influenced people through fields of photography, fashion, illustration, art, filmmaking, music and more.
The two-minute documentary series which were shot in three different locations in Africa – Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa highlights five young talented entrepreneurs: popular video director Clarence Peters, spectacular glasses-cum-artworks maker Cyrus Kabiru, film-maker Bolaji, graphics designer/I.T guru Jimmy Chuchu, Nigerian fashion designer Bayo and Kenyan DJ Jahawi.
Touching Base premieres on MTV Base on Monday, June 6, 2011.
