Nigerian singer Skales was in the news last weekend over a recent interview he had on NET TV which ended abruptly after the singer walked off the interview set over unfriendly assertions made by the interviewer – Victor Okpala.

The interviewer insisted that the singers 2017 single “Booty Language” wasn’t a ‘genius song’ even after the artiste appeared visibly offended by this statement. As the interview grew into a heated debate, the singer who in his words felt attacked stood up and walked off the set.

The interview which trended on Twitter the day before was received with Mixed reactions – many took sides with the singer, expressing their displeasure over the interviewer’s conduct.
Skales has now released a statement on the situation via his Twitter handle demanding that NET tenders an apology for disrespecting him.
