As his US-based fans continue to rue his absence at Coachella, Wizkid has given a simple explanation of his inability to be there, as well as some events that he had been no-shows at.
Earlier, he had revealed that his band couldn’t get visas in time for Coachella, leading a fan to point out that he had the same issues last year.
Same shit happened last year where you miss BIG SHOWS due to visa issues!. It’s crazy!.

His reply was that ‘his father wasn’t an embassy’, apparently referring to the fact that he has to wait for visas like everybody else.

During his now settled feud with Davido, the American born singer had fired subliminals at Wizkid, especially on his Summer Body track with Olamide where he sang ‘With Yankee passport, them say we local…’
In 2017, Wizkid missed the Made in America Festival much to the annoyance of organizers. A few months later, he got fans talking when he missed both legs of his former mentor and boss Banky W’s wedding. His explanation then, was that he had visa issues. ‘God bless my big bro @bankywellington and our new wife @adesuaetomi God will bless you with happiness and abundance of Joy as u start your new life together! Missing this day is something that will forever make me sad, But this is not about me, its abt you! Enjoy ! Happiness and love forever ! #Stillwaitingonmypassport,‘ he wrote.
