Police in Florida has arrested a fourth suspect in the fatal shooting of 20-year-old rapper XXXTentacion.
The new suspect, 20-year-old Trayvon Newsome was taken into custody shortly before 5 p.m. on Tuesday, according to a statement posted by the Broward County Sheriff’s Office on Twitter.
Newsome surrendered himself at his lawyer’s office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and has been booked on charges of first-degree murder and robbery with a deadly weapon.
Newsome is the final suspect expected to be taken into custody after the previous arrests of Dedrick Williams, Michael Boatwright and Robert Allen. In July, a grand jury in Fort Lauderdale indicted all four men on charges of first-degree murder and armed robbery.
XXXTentacion whose real name was Johseh Onfroy was killed after leaving a motorcycle dealership in June. According to authorities, his vehicle was blocked by another car before two masked gunmen approached his car, shot him and fled with a Louis Vuitton bag filled with $50,000.
