Nigerian pop singer, Runtown recently sold out a 4,000-capacity venue in New York City during his ‘Mad Over You’ world tour.
Runtown gave an rousing performance to thousands of his fans that were able to get into the Amazura Concert Hall on Saturday, March 18, 2017.
Some fans that bought tickets were left stranded, as they couldn’t get into the filled location.
‘My apologies to everyone that couldn’t get in, we doing a bigger venue soon,’ the singer promised during his performance.
Other African artistes that took turns on stage to thrill guests at the concert include Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie, Efya and Nigerian singer, JDC.
In the past three months, Runtown has performed in several UK and US venues, which include Indigo 02 Arena in London and Howard Event Center in Washington.
Wizkid and DJ Cuppy were present to show support for Runtown at his first ever UK concert, which took place in London, in February 2017.
