Yesterday, French President Emmanuel Macron was a guest of the Lagos State government who hosted him at the New Afrikan Shrine in Lagos.
The new African was established by the late legendary AfroBeat maestro and social activist Fela Anikulap0 Kuti and his son, Femi Kuti was on hand to thrill the French President with the undiluted sound of Afrobeat music.
Apart from all the glitz and glamour that greeted the reception, a moment that stood out during the event was when a little boy came out to present a portrait to Mr Macron.
11-year-old Kareem Waris Olamilekan did a pencil sketch of the visiting president and it was revealed that he made the art piece in just 2 hours. An elated Macron flanked by Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode is seen in the video hugging the young talented artiste in appreciation.
