Disney’s star, Cameron Boyce died from a seizure in his sleep on the 6th of this month and his co-stars and fans are yet to recover from the shock of his death. His closest friend and ‘descendants’ co-star, Dove Cameron posted videos of her reading a eulogy for him on her Instagram earlier today.
Cameron Boyce was one of the lead actors in the now-concluded Jessie and also in the famous ‘Descendants’ franchise. His co-stars from Jessie had already begun to send him eulogies from the 6th till yesterday. However, asides from the simple “no words, words will come later” that Dove said earlier she had not shared any other reactions till today.
She stated that she did not want to comment on such a personal pain to her on social media that was so public and she could not reconcile the both of them. She then added that after her therapy session, she decided that the best way to deal with the pain right now was to be connective and expressive.
She went on to read a write up she had written for Cameron while fighting tears all the way. She said “I’ve been unsuccessful thinking about trying to summarize something where there are no adequate words in the English language. My system is still in shock, my brain is still foggy and full of holes.”
She then added “Cameron was one of my favourite people alive in the world, though I know that’s not unique to me. Cameron was magic, an earth angel. Over the last six years, since he was only 14, Cameron talked me down from countless ledges, talked me through eating disorders, helped me out of a dark relationship and through endless break downs… I can’t count the amount of times on my hands we ruined something because we couldn’t stop making each other laugh.”
We do hope that God will give her the fortitude to bear her loss and deal with the pain because she seemed so heartbroken.
