In true African fashion and display of cleanliness, fans of the Teranga Lions of Senegal stayed back after their world cup match against Poland to clean up the section the stands they had occupied at the Spartak Stadium.
Senegal defeated Poland by 2 goals to 1, giving Africa its first win of the competition.
The fans after the game decided it was only proper to dispose of the litters they had made in the stadium, making light the jobs of over volunteers who enlisted to attend to sanitary activities during the tournament.
Also, the Japanese fans after their victory over Columbia were filmed cleaning up the stands at the Mordovia Arena in Saransk.
