All is set for the kickoff of the second edition of Social4Media Workshop in Lagos today, September 4, 2019. The free digital skills training event, organised by Lagos based marketing and media company, ID Africa and marketing technology startup, Plaqad, is aimed at training over 50 media professionals in Nigeria.
The event will see 12 professionals and experts from the fields of marketing, media and tech gather at Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos, to share useful insights through case studies and provide practical tools that will help journalists, bloggers and storytellers to effectively leverage opportunities that digital media offers.
The speakers and facilitators include OAP Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi, Comedian SLKomedy, Kraks Media Founder Femi Bakre, BBC Journalist Princess Abumere, BBC Growth Editor Michael Okeje, Zikoko Editor-in-Chief Fu’ad Lawal, Facebook Ads expert Ken Ndubuisi, Co-founder Natural Girl Wigs Yemi Johnson, Marketing Strategist Kayode Abass and many others.
Participants at the event will learn how to improve their digital skills and have a deeper understanding of technology tools, in order to successfully innovate and grow in their career.
Social4Media Masterclass, which is also supported by BlackHouse Media (BHM) first held in November 2017. The maiden edition featured presentations by MI Abaga, Alibaba, Frank Donga, Osagie Alonge, Tomiwa Aladekomo, Yemi Adamolekun, Ayeni Adekunle and others.
