Tade Ogidan‘s is currently on set of Gold Statue, a film that heralds his return to mainstream Nollywood scene.
Gold Statue tells the adventures of two young men, Wale and Chike in search of a gold statue which is believed to be an inherited deity.
While trying to find the location of the supposed statue is located ‘a series of unimaginable ordeals and put themselves through some ridiculously painful situations that leave their parents shocked.
‘The question is, does a ‘Gold Statue’ exist or is it a myth? Will this adventure yield results or will they end up regretting for the rest of their lives?’
The movie is a collaborative effort from OGD Pictures and Solutions Media and InfoTech.
The star-studded movie features Richard Mofe Damijo, Alibaba Akporobome, Sola Sobowale, Gabriel Afolayan, Remi Surutu, Olakunle Fawole, Segun Arinze, Kunle Remi and Rycardo Agbor.
Also featuring are Kelvin Ikeduba, Francis Onwuchie, Norbert Young, Tina Mba, Bisola Aiyeola, Yvonne Jegede, Etinosa Idemudia, Judith Audu, Greg Ojefua, Kenny Blaq, Woli Ariole, Neale Atkinson, Kemi Afolabi, Adeniyi Johnson and a host of other actors.
