Controversial Nollywood actress, Tonto Dike has a word for ladies on domestic violence.
The actress, who shared a bizarre tweet from a woman who claims she enjoys domestic violence and that the day her husband stops beating her is the day she’ll know he’s cheating on her on her Instagram page, was left agitated afterwards.
To say Tonto Dike was appalled by the message is an understatement and she had this to say afterwards: ‘don’t know if I read this well, can’t believe this high tension ignorance is still in existence. How Does Physical violence reflect LOVE in any Way? ONLY UNEDUCATED LAZY, HOPELESSS, BROKE, NAIVE, BROKEN WOMEN SPEAK LIKE THIS* Do you know what domestic Abuse do to you? It breaks you, makes you feel worthless n deserving of the abuse, it puts fear in you,It paralyses yourself confidence, it kills you n leaves your kids motherless DON’T STAND FOR VIOLENCE #SAY NO TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE’.
Tonto Dike’s aversion for domestic violence was once depicted in a movie titled Holding Hope which was produced by Uche Jombo and directed by Desmond Elliot.
