American rapper, Travis Scott, was a guest at Ellen DeGeneres‘ show where he opened up about what it was like to become a dad for the first time and the activities that happened in the labour room during the delivery of his child Stormi.
When Kris Jenner was on Ellen’s show last week, she revealed that she was in the room when her daughter, Kylie, gave birth, and Travis confirmed that. “That is a fact, yeah, she held it down because it was so scary. She walked me through the whole process,” he told Ellen.
He also spoke that what scared him the most during the birth of their baby wasn’t actually the birth, but the placenta, an organ that grows within the woman during pregnancy and is delivered along with the baby and for Traviss, being a first-time dad, he had no idea this was a thing.
“There’s this thing called the placenta, that I’ve just been hearing about? Oh my god. So, I was fearful of all that,” he said. “But I cut the umbilical cord. But, yeah, [Kris] held it down. Mama KJ, she’s the best.”
The musician also told his host how worried he was about how young both of them are as new parents. Kylie is 21 now but was only 20 when she had Stormi, and Travis was 25.
“Going into it, I was nervous and scared, because we’re both young. But, you know, when you first hold a baby in your arms, it’s uncontrollable,” Travis said. “I never thought I could just love something so hard, ya know? It’s crazy.”
