One of Nigeria’s Entertainment industry power couple, Tunde and Wunmi Obe are celebrating their 2oth year wedding anniversary today.
The couple popularly referred to by their performing name T.W.O are famous Nigerian show business personalities, entertainers, television hosts and entrepreneurs. They met in the 90s and began their music career as undergraduates before going on to host the popular 90s TV programme ‘The Charly Boy Show’.
As musicians, the couple released their debut album titled ‘Sealed’ in 1998 and have put out 6 albums together till date with their most recent being their 2014 album titled ‘T.W.O PLUS’.
Tunde Obe was the son of a Nigerian diplomat Amb. Emmanuel Oyeleye Obe, while Wumni is born to the popular Aboderin family and sister to late Punch CEO Wale Aboderin.
Tunde while celebrating their journey in a post on twitter said to his wife Wunmi that He Couldn’t have had a better person by my side through this life’s journey. He also said that even though they are still mourning the death of his in-law and late Punch Newspaper Chairman Wale, their wedding anniversary was still worth celebrating, stating that their dreams came through.
