TV Land has joined a gradually growing band of corporations to blacklist popular comedian, Bill Cosby over the recent rape allegations levelled against him.
According to TMZ, the network decided that The Cosby Show isn’t worth the risk, so it’s quietly killing the show’s presence on its website.
The website allows users to watch video clips of the show and get info about air dates but recently, the network has deactivated all of the ‘Cosby’ links. If you click the link now, it takes you to an error page.
As for running the show on the network, the next scheduled airing is Sunday and when contacted to find out if the show will run, the network refused to comment. Given what they’ve just done with their website, that would be taken as a NO.
This comes on the heels of NBC, Netflix and Comedy Central choosing not to air Cosby specials in the wake of the weighty and shattering rape allegations that have resurfaced against him.
